Out! Raleigh 2018

On May 5, 2018, Out! Raleigh Pride returned in all its glory. We’re absolutely thrilled to see the amount of support we received for this year’s Pride. More and more friends are joining us to celebrate the visibility and equality that our LGBTQ+ community in North Carolina needs. This year’s sponsor lineup included ever-supportive friends from Workplace Options, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, and so many new local partners like Carolina Hurricanes, Dell, and Visit Raleigh. Every year, we’re amazed by the dedication and shining talents of our volunteers. More fresh ideas were thrown into the mix and more high-quality work was accomplished by them. Their hard work was truly the backbone of Out! Raleigh Pride.

A bunch of amazing artists returned to our stage this year to give the crowd the show of their lifetimes. We could dance to DJ Pancakes’ mix all day, and enjoy the fantastic performances from the Common Woman Chorus, Triangle Pride Band, Posh Hammer, and High Bushy Tails. The soulful diva, Alise King, gave us a show-stopping performance to keep the energy high. An absolute treat for the ear and the eyes!

The day was filled with joy, music, and celebration. Cheers to the queers!
