Out! Raleigh 2017

Out! Raleigh Pride is getting bigger and bigger every year, and we’re so here for it! This year’s sponsor lineup was a mix of familiar faces and new friends including Workplace Options, PNC Bank, Wells Fargo, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina along with some fresh allies like Duke Health, Siemens, and many more. We’re all so grateful for your support of the festival and the local LGBTQ+ community.

We can’t talk about Pride without mentioning the contributions of our wonderful volunteers who made it all happen. From organizing the Pride events to setting up the stages and warmly welcoming guests, they can do it all! 

We welcomed back DJ Pancakes to the stage this year to keep the crowd dancing all day. We had some dazzling music from a variety of performers like Triangle Pride Band, Posh Hammer, High Bushy Tails, Daphne Willis, and Shirlette Ammons. The crowd had a fun time laughing along with Sampson The Comedian’s session. And we can’t forget the lively performance by Raleigh Little Theater that had everyone cheering. 

What a great day to celebrate being queer! Here’s to another year of Pride, joy, and community.
